President's Message from Kevin Poland
Dear Members of the Maryland State Pest Control Association,
As we close out one membership year and prepare to launch the next, I want to reflect on the tremendous value of being part of both your state and national pest management associations — the Maryland State Pest Control Association (MSPCA) and the National Pest Management Association (NPMA).
Membership in these organizations is more than a listing or a logo. It connects you to continuing education, regulatory advocacy, industry resources, and a strong professional network that helps move our industry forward. Through MSPCA and NPMA, you have a voice in shaping the future of pest control in Maryland and across the country.
The 2025 to 2026 membership year begins July 1. If you have not renewed yet, I encourage you to do so. Your support allows us to continue offering meaningful programs, relevant training, and growth opportunities. Log in to your member profile to pay your invoice, or click here to renew today. If you have already renewed, thank you for your continued support!
I am especially excited about the return of one of our most impactful events, MSPCA Business Building Blocks and Connections. Now in its second year, this event focuses on business development, staff training, and operational success. It is designed for everyone involved in pest management, from owners and managers to sales and customer service teams. Beyond the education, it offers valuable opportunities to connect with speakers, vendors, and peers. It is all about learning, collaboration, and growth.
On a personal note, I have accepted a new opportunity in Florida and will continue my career in pest management there. While this means stepping away from my role as MSPCA President, I remain proud of what we have accomplished together. It has been an honor to serve this community, and I look forward to seeing MSPCA continue to thrive.
Thank you for your support. Let us make the year ahead one of connection, innovation, and continued success.
Warm regards,
Kevin Poland
